At Angels Early Learning, we recognize that the toddler years, from 18 months to 3 years, are a period of remarkable growth and discovery. Our “Engaged Learning Program” is crafted to be nurturing and engaging, supporting children as they explore, learn and develop a passion for discovery.
Walking independently, running, crawling through tunnel tube and beginning to kick or throw a ball. Toddlers refine their gross motor skills through activities that enhance balance, coordination and physical confidence, enabling them to engage more actively with their environment and peers.
Using utensils, stacking blocks, turning pages of a book and drawing simple shapes. Fine motor skills are developed through tasks that require precision and control, such as manipulating small objects, which improve hand-eye coordination and support complex physical activities.
Using a growing vocabulary of 50-100 words and starting to combine two to three words into simple sentences. Toddlers expand their language skills through increased verbal interaction, learning new words and forming basic sentences to communicate their needs and ideas.
Following simple instructions, asking questions and understanding basic concepts like “big” and “small.” Toddlers enhance their ability to comprehend and engage in conversations, improving their communication skills by responding to verbal cues and expressing themselves more effectively.
Playing alongside other children (parallel play), showing interest in other kids and beginning to share toys. Social skills are developed as toddlers learn to interact with peers, share, take turns and participate in group activities, building their ability to engage and collaborate with others.
Expressing a range of emotions like joy, excitement and surprise and starting to develop a sense of self and independence. Toddlers begin to understand and articulate their feelings, forming emotional connections and gaining awareness of their own identity and independence.
Experimenting with cause and effect, solving simple puzzles, balancing and understanding object permanence. Cognitive development is fostered through activities that challenge toddlers to think critically, explore relationships between actions and outcomes and recognize that objects exist even when out of sight.
Engaging in pretend play, imitating adult behaviours and exploring their environment with curiosity. Toddlers develop cognitive skills through imaginative play, mimicking daily activities and experimenting with their surroundings, which enhances their understanding and creativity.
Beginning to engage in personal hygiene practices, independently feeding themselves, showing interest in dressing and undressing and starting to explore toileting routines. Toddlers build self-care skills through daily routines, fostering independence and confidence in managing personal needs.
Developing organization skills by sorting objects, following daily routines, recognizing personal belongings and making simple choices. Toddlers learn to manage their environment and tasks, laying the groundwork for more complex organizational abilities as they grow.
We offer a caring and enriching experience that supports children's growth and development. Our program enhances their skills through activities tailored to their individual needs. This strong foundation effectively prepares them for future learning adventures and new challenges.
As toddlers approach the next stage of their early education, we prepare them for a seamless transition. We gradually introduce new routines and activities to help ease their shift to more advanced learning environments. Our team works closely with families to ensure that every child feels supported and ready for the next chapter in their educational journey.
Each experience is designed to empower toddlers, helping them gain confidence as they embark on their educational journey. Together, we foster an environment where curiosity is celebrated, and every day is an opportunity for new adventures and learning. With our dedicated support, children take bold steps toward their future, exploring the world around them with enthusiasm and wonder.
